We connected influencers and opinion leaders from many different countries to develop a global conversation about the impact of innovation on our lives through Enel’s new talk series.
Electricity is the main driver of the current energy transition and Enel, with its 73 million customers, has been at the forefront of this evolution since 2016 when the Open Power vision was started. Under this vision, openness is a key element of the group’s strategic and operational approach.
Following the Open Power vision, we helped Enel to open up its global scale and resources to enable a global conversation around the opportunities of the energy transition, which is massively transforming our world.
That’s why we created #EnelFocusOn: a format of networking meetings that brings experts and innovative ideas together, in order to inspire change and drive progress.
The main goal is to connect opinion leaders and influencers from many countries interested in how innovation and sustainability can have an impact on our lives and on the future of the planet.
#EnelFocusOn is a series of Talks organized all over the world—from Bucharest to London, from Madrid to New York, from Santiago de Chile to Addis Ababa, from San Francisco to Bogotá—with the intent on making an impact in key sectors.
How? By addressing the most important disruptions impacting our lives, connected to the Energy Transition, where Enel is playing a key role: Renewable Energy, E-mobility, Customer Centricity, Open Innovability, Blockchain, and Digital Opportunities.
Some of the opinion leaders and influencers who participated in #EnelFocusOn are:
Chris Anderson, CEO of 3D Robotics and former Editor-in-Chief of Wired Magazine; Monica Araya, Vice President of Costa Rica E-mobility Association and Founder of Costa Rica Limpia;
Mark Kramer, Co-Founder and Managing Director of FSG, a consulting firm supporting leaders in creating social change;
Joe Pine, co-author of the bestseller “The Experience Economy: Work Is Theater & Every Business a Stage” and Business Consultant with The Strategic Horizons LLP;
Brian Solis, Analyst, Author and Futurist;
Tom Raftery, SAP’s Global VP, Futurist & Innovation Evangelist. Proving that the brand isn’t the content, the broadcaster is.
Each and every #EnelFocusOn Talk is not just a physical event, it’s a live-streaming show broadcasted on Enel’s social media channels. In this way, everyone can participate and take part in the conversation—from anywhere in the world—leveraging the potential of digital touchpoints.
Through the activity carried out by over 400 international influencers involved during all the editions of the initiative, an average of 2.2 million people were engaged online thanks to the hashtag #EnelFocusOn on Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
