G-Shock is an iconic brand in the watchmaking world, known for its durability and distinctive design that appeal to both streetwear enthusiasts and those seeking high-quality accessories. With a history of innovation and an ever-evolving spirit, the brand now faces new challenges in the digital landscape: aiming to expand its presence and connect with its audience through a media strategy that seamlessly integrates digital and in-store experiences.

Problem
G-Shock’s social media communication, while consistent and cohesive so far, was at risk of becoming overly uniform, missing the opportunity to maximize the impact of every digital channel. At the same time, the physical store in Milan, an important touchpoint for the brand, wasn’t standing out as an experiential and memorable space for visitors. There was a need to create a more dynamic and diversified social media strategy and to enhance the physical store with a more engaging approach, one that could attract and retain the audience.
Solution
We’ve embarked on an integrated strategy to refresh G-Shock’s communication, focusing on three key areas. 

  • First, we’ve redefined our social media approach with tailored content for each platform: Instagram (for product and brand awareness), Facebook (for community engagement) and (soon) Tik Tok, aiming to tap into the latest platform trends. 
  • Next, we’ve built an optimized media strategy, adopting a full-funnel approach that covers every stage of the user journey, from awareness to conversion.
  • Finally, recognizing the importance of the phygital — the fusion of physical and digital experiences — we’ve decided to transform the Milan store into a key brand space.
    Through special events, creative collaborations, and targeted communications, we’re creating an experiential and inclusive environment where customers can immerse themselves in the essence of G-Shock.
