We designed a new visual and verbal identity for Scalapay. Logo, typography, colors, tone of voice, and a story that summarizes the company's adventure and the values that supported its birth and growth. 

In the brand manual, all the elements of communication harmonize, and shape an evolved brand identity, in which the story of the deep idea that moved the founders emerges. Not just a collection of guidelines, but a way of making the brand culture visible and transmissible, internally as well as externally.

Problem
Scalapay is a successful scale-up that has grown very quickly. Because of this, it faced the problems that fast-growing organizations often encounter: communication assets that do not keep pace with evolution. And thus inconsistency of materials, fuzzy identity, fragmented and incomplete communication. 
Not only outwardly, but also inwardly: the company needed to precisely and effectively define its culture and values in order to convey them to people, especially new people who were joining the organization at a rapid pace.
Solution
Together with Scalapay, we designed a visual and verbal identity rooted in the "why," the deep reasons behind the company's birth and growth.

  • We started from their story and tagline,"If you love it, Scalapay it." 
  • We identified the company's founding values, and translated them into a series of keywords and recurring narratives.
  • We defined their tone of voice, key messages, and their way of expressing and communicating.
  • We created a consistent visual system applicable to all communication touchpoints. 
  • We enhanced their logo, typography, colors, layout composition.
  • We developed a brand manual that meets all the company's communication needs, both external and internal.
Developing a coherent narrative, based on cultural tension and not simply a product description, makes it easier to convey a brand’s identity, even in a context of rapid growth and constant evolution.
