Founded in 1821, ITAS Mutua is one of Italy’s oldest mutual insurance companies. Built on values of solidarity, responsibility, and community, ITAS has grown into a modern and reliable partner for individuals, families, companies and organizations. Over the years, the company has evolved its services and communication, embracing innovation while staying true to its roots.

A long term partnership

ITAS has been our client since 2019, and since 2021 we’ve been their Lead Agency, managing the brand’s communication across all of their digital and physical channels. Our work includes strategic positioning, creative direction, content production and the development of all ATL, BTL, social media and digital materials. We also support internal units and local agencies, helping to ensure consistency and coherence across every touchpoint.

Insurance made for adventure

As part of ITAS’s “instant insurance” strategy, we worked on the positioning and launch of ITASNOW and ITASACTIVE — two smart, digital-first insurance products for sports and outdoor activities. The project involved rethinking the user experience across all touchpoints, from digital interfaces to outdoor advertising and event spaces. The result: two clear and accessible solutions for active lifestyles.

Protecting those who help others with ITAS GIVE

ITAS GIVE is a flexible insurance policy designed for occasional volunteers — a first of its kind in Italy. To communicate its purpose and impact, we created a brand identity and campaign that emphasized recognition and value for volunteers. Through a warm and accessible tone, we helped position ITAS GIVE as more than an insurance — a social commitment for those who are making a difference.

A mobility partnership with Telepass

To highlight the partnership between ITAS and Telepass, we designed a campaign that focused on freedom, convenience, and safety on the road. Through a mix of TV, radio,OOH, digital, and in-store communication, we showed how ITAS car insurance and Telepass services come together to offer seamless mobility — with peace of mind.

A fresh approach to the sustainability report

For ITAS, the Sustainability Report is a key part of its brand narrative. Our challenge was to move beyond the traditional format and create a digital experience that would reflect the company’s commitment to transparency and innovation. We developed an interactive landing page with animated infographics and visual storytelling techniques that made complex data more accessible and engaging. This new format brought fresh energy to a strategic communication tool.

Jumping higher with Gianmarco Tamberi

When ITAS partnered with Olympic champion Gianmarco Tamberi, the goal was to connect with a wider audience through a trusted and admired figure. We developed a multi-platform campaign featuring Tamberi, including a national TV commercial, online videos and social media content. The campaign helped humanize the brand and reinforce its values through a strong and authentic testimonial.

A new momentum for the brand: rediscovering the meaning of being mutual

With the launch of its new strategic plan and brand identity, ITAS Mutua takes a decisive step toward escaping the trap of commoditization and strengthening its distinctiveness within the insurance landscape. The new direction – encapsulated in the promise “L’assicurazione che ci unisce” – puts the company’s original purpose back at the center: to unite people in order to build trust and well-being.

Together with ITAS, we helped shape an evolution that transforms communication from a promotional tool into a coherent and scalable system, capable of enhancing ITAS’s entire ecosystem of services and creating meaningful experiences for members, employees, and agents. The rope team – a core visual and narrative element – becomes a tangible metaphor for this approach: a group of people bound together, tackling challenges and growing side by side.

No longer just about protection, but also about help and connection: ITAS positions itself as a modern mutual, investing in long-term impact, social value, and stronger ties with local communities. A vision that looks ahead to the next 200 years with the ambition of leading the industry’s transition toward a more human, sustainable, and collective model.
